Net Zero Commercial Energy (“we”, “us”) is a UK commercial energy brokerage. This page will explain how we handle personal data when you enquire, become a client, or apply for a role.

What we expect to collect

Name, work email, company, telephone if provided, site details, meter references, and the contents of invoices you send us. Career applicants: CV and cover note. Newsletter: the work email you submit.

Why

To respond to enquiries, tender and manage energy contracts, and consider applications. Legal bases will typically be legitimate interests and/or contract, plus any consent required for optional marketing — to be confirmed with a solicitor.

Who else sees it

Energy suppliers we tender to, and any accountancy or IT providers we appoint. We will not sell enquiry lists. Hosting and form tools used on the live site must be named here. Until a form processor is live, enquiries are sent by mailto to info@nzcenergy.co.uk.

How long

Retention periods to be set: enquiry records, client files, and unsuccessful applications should not live forever “just in case”.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and complaint to the ICO. Contact details and ICO registration number to be published.
